Before Henry moved to Asia, he was a hair stylist in the prestige’s enclave of Sloane Square in West London. Such was the location of the salon it naturally drew a clientele of the highest caliber. But the draw to travel was far too strong and after 4 years in working in London He decided to follow his dream into entertainment and moved to Asia. He got his first break in Malaysia within 3 months of landing when he was picked up to head a live evening variety show called “The 8TV Quickie”. During his time with 8TV he worked on a number of projects including Motorsports@Petronas, Maybelline Simply Fabulous, Ultimate Prom Night, The Shout! Awards and not forgetting, a support host for E! News Asia.
Henry’s next step in his career came in the form of turning regional with ESPN’s Castrol Football Crazy, broadcast in over 20 Asian countries at a prime time of 8:30pm. The show allowed him to travel to Madrid to train and interview Cristiano Ronaldo, South Africa to experience the World Cup and interview Arsene Wenger. Henry’s latest project has been “Welcome to the Rail World” a solo travel show around 9 states in Malaysia using the railway systems, experiencing the multi-faceted cultures of the fantastic country. Shot in HD, a truly beautiful and exciting project brought out Henry’s curious and playful nature. The show aired both in Malaysia (8TV) and Singapore (Channel 5 and Okto) leading Henry to win ELLE magazine "HOST OF THE YEAR". Henry is now the Malaysian CANON brand ambassador and is looking forward to future projects, including "Without Boundaries" a brand new 20-episode travel show spread across 2 seasons, exploring the beaches and islands of Malaysia as well as its jungles and mountains.
